The Blood Pressure Association is the UK charity dedicated to lowering the nation's blood pressure. Our vision is that everyone will know their blood pressure numbers, in the same way that they know their height or weight, and take steps to keep them healthy both now and in the future.
Since October 2000 we have been making a real difference to the 16 million people affected by high blood pressure in the UK.
We have a wide range of information and support available in our leaflets, booklets, magazine, website, email service and telephone information line (0845 241 0989, weekdays, 11am - 3pm)
We work to make sure that high blood pressure is at the top of everyone's health agenda: within Government, among health professionals, in the media and for every adult in the UK, particularly those at risk from high blood pressure.
Through our award-winning Know your Numbers! campaign we ensure that more than 250,000 adults each year receive free blood pressure checks and information on how to achieve a healthy blood pressure. Since its launch in 2001, over 1.5 million people have had a free blood pressure check over the course of eight annual Know your Numbers! Week events.
As a registered charity we rely on your help and financial support so that we can continue to help the millions of people in the UK currently living with high blood pressure and to help prevent others from developing this serious, but manageable, condition.
