Giving directly from your salary is one of the easiest ways to make regular and tax-free donations to the Blood Pressure Association. Not only is it quick and easy, the Government will add to your donation to make it even bigger.

How we get £10 when you can give £7.18

If you donate to the Blood Pressure Association through your salary, the Government will top up your gift based on your tax rate. This means that, for a basic rate taxpayer (currently 22%), giving £1 to the charity costs just 78p.

In other words, if you are a basic rate taxpayer and you gave £7.18, the taxman will add another £2.82 and make it up to £10.

How to give through your salary

Payroll giving couldn’t be simpler. Many companies’ payroll departments are able to organise it for you. Just let them know how much you would like to donate each month and they will do the rest.

You can let us know that you want to set up payroll giving by emailing info@bpassoc.org.uk or writing to The Blood Pressure Association, 60 Cranmer Terrace, London SW17 0QS.
