Know your Numbers! is the Blood Pressure Association's award-winning flagship campaign which raises awareness of the risks of high blood pressure.
The highlight of the campaign is Know your Numbers! Week, the nation's biggest blood pressure testing event, which takes place in the second week of September each year.
The event, which won the healthcare category of The Charity Awards 2008, provides free blood pressure checks at thousands of 'Pressure Stations' run by health professionals all over the UK.
If you are a health professional who takes blood pressure as part of your professional role why not sign up to run a 'Pressure Station' and help to raise awareness of the risks of high blood pressure.
By taking part, you will be able to join a successful national campaign whilst informing your patients/clients/community about the importance of every adult knowing their most vital statistic - their blood pressure.
We provide resources including posters, information leaflets, testing guidelines, record cards and other display material, as well as promoting the event both nationally and locally. You provide staff competent in blood pressure monitoring, a validated monitor and a suitable area to offer checks and information.
